VIS Individual & Team Rankings

With the IAC, WCAC, Prep and MAWL Tournaments held this past weekend, we are about halfway through the tournament season. This has given me a lot of data to manipulate and so I have put together a set of rankings for wrestlers and teams. The individual rankings are first; at the end of the post I project these into the team results that I expect at the State Tournament. With each individual, I have included some of his accomplishments this season and some of his key victories. I think I have most of them correctly, but I welcome any corrections or additions.

The VIC, TCIS, & CAC Tournaments are this weekend, as is the St. Albans Tournament. These tournaments will provide me with even more data. I'll get a final set out next week as a preview to the State Tournament.

Based on these individual rankings, this is how the teams would line-up. First through fourth are fairly solid as a group and alone. Fifth through Tenth is where it gets exciting. These teams all fall within about 10 points of each other. Any shifts in individual results and, more importantly, bonus points will have a big impact on the final team placement. PVI is a very close 11th and could easily crack the top ten.
